What it does
The Boredometer Administration Tool (BAT) is an application for a Facebook Page.
It uses an Authorisation Code to restrict use to authorities in the Plings pilot, and to link a specific Page's BAT to a specific area.
The BAT allows you to Send Messages to all users of Boredometer in your area. It also helps you to Search for Plings in your area. You can attach these Plings to your messages, or publish them to your Page's stream. You can also review messages your BAT has already sent and view statistics about the Boredometer users in your area.
Facebook Pages and the Boredometer Administration Tool
In order to install the BAT, you will need to be an administrator of a Facebook Page.
For more information about Facebook Pages, including how to create one, please take a look at this article by Tim Davies.
