This is an idea developed at the Empire42 Social Hackathon.

Function Requirements

As a website USER I should be able to:

  • See a list of Venues near me (based on GoeIP look up or manual over ride)
  • See the number of activities taking place at each venue today
  • See a list of these activities per Venue
  • Understand if any activities have already taken place (or - not see them)
  • Be able to remove/filter activities that I am not interested in
  • Go to the Activity page on plings.net for further infomation
  • Skip forward to a different date for activities


As a website OWNER I should be able to:

  • Embed the Pligwit into my site through Javascript
  • Configure the data settings of the widget based on my Organisation feed and/or area
  • Configure whether the USER should be able to over ride the widget datafeed through GeoIP look up
  • Configure the widget design/colors


As the PLINGS teams I should be able to:

  • Track the number of installs and associated traffic through tracking code
